This is a petition filed under Section 24 of the Code of Civil Procedure seeking transfer of O.P. 286 of 2014 pending before the Family Court, Kasaragod to Family Court, Thrissur to be tried along with O.P. 963 of 2014 pending in the Family Court, Thrissur.
2. The petitioner married the respondent and their marital life ran into rough weather and litigations began. The parties took up separate residence. The petitioner points out that he filed O.P. 286 of 2014 before the Family Court, Kasaragod for divorce. As a counter blast, the respondent filed O.P. 963 of 2014 before the Family Court, Thrissur praying for the very same relief, but on a different ground. The petitioner now seeks transfer of O.P. 286 of 2014 from Family Court, Kasaragod to Family Court, Thrissur.

3. The respondent entered appearance and he has no objection in granting the transfer as prayed for.
In the result, this transfer petition is allowed and O.P. 286 of 2014 pending before the Family Court, Kasaragod shall stand transferred to Family Court, Thrissur to be tried along with O.P. 963 of 2014 pending before Family Court, Thrissur.
