This is a writ petition by the Chairman, Nagar Palika Parishad, Khair, District Aligarh.
The ground for filing the writ petition is that in spite of the order dated 26.2.2018 by the Additional District Magistrate, Aligarh, the enquiry in the earlier appointment of certain persons during the tenure of another Chairman is not being proceeded with.
It is to be noted that an Enquiry Committee has already been constituted. No direction can be issued at the behest of the Chairman for concluding the enquiry. However, if any proceeding have been initiated, it is expected that the same will be taken to its logical conclusion.
With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
