Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and perused the record.
Present petition has been filed with a prayer that the Court below i.e. respondent no. 1 be directed to expedite the hearing and decide the Civil Suit No. 408 of 2007 (Sanjay vs. Asarfi) within a time bound period.
It is stated that plaintiff no. 1 has been examined and cross-examined.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is finally disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 1 to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same on its own merit, in accordance with law, expeditiously, provided there is no legal impediment and no unnecessary adjournments shall be granted to the parties.
With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the present petition is finally disposed of.
