Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State.
Prayer made in the instant petition is as follows: -
"Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 to decide the representation dated 21.10.2020 made by the petitioner expeditiously within stipulated time."
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has made representation in question with prayer to include an affidavit as part of case diary, but the same has not been considered by Senior Superintendent of Police (respondent no. 2) so far and hence the instant writ petition.
On a query made by the Court as to under which provision respondent no. 2 is under obligation to consider such a representation, he expressed his inability to place before us any such legal provision.
The petition is wholly misconceived and is dismissed.
