Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent No. 2 to expedite the proceeding expeditiously within specific period, which is pending before the court of Tehsildar, Judicial, Tehsil Ballia Sadar, District Ballia as a Case No. 318/2013-2014 under section 33/34, Uttar Pradesh Land Revenue Act, 1901 (Smt. Sandhya Singh Versus Smt. Urmila Devi)."
It has been stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner is pending consideration since the year 2014.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
