Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"I) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.1 Naib Tehsildar, Lalganj, District Azamgarh to decide Mutation Case No.T-20171565704856 Sandhya Versus Kanchan Under Section 34 of U.P. Land Revenue Act, 1901 Mauja Sofipur and Mutation Case No.T- 20171565704857, Sandhya Versus Kanchan under Section 34 of U.P. Land revenue Act, 2901 Mauja Raghuveerpur expeditiously."
It has been stated that a mutation case filed by the petitioner in the year 2017 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.1 Naib Tehsildar, Lalganj, District Azamgarh to endeavour to decide the mutation case of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
