Sri Vishal Kakkar, the learned Standing Counsel on instructions states that the encroachments found on plot no. 226 have been admittedly dealt with and final orders under Section 67 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 have been passed. Insofar as plot no. 208 is concerned, Sri Kakkar states that after due inquiry no encroachments were found to exist thereon. Insofar as plot no. 225 is concerned, Sri Kakkar states that the opposite party was transferred prior to proceedings being initiated. He further states on behalf of the present incumbent Assistant Collector that proceedings shall be duly initiated and all endeavour shall be made so that they are finally decided in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from today.
In the light of the statement so made, nothing further survives in this petition which shall stand disposed of.
