Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide the Original Suit No. 750 of 2015 instituted by the petitioner against the defendant-respondent within a specified time frame.
A perusal of the order-sheet reveals that on the last date, counsel for both the parties were not present before the court below. The court below, therefore, adjourned the matter and fixed 25.07.2019 for settlement of issues.
Having regard to the facts of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
