1. This petition has been filed by the petitioners praying for a direction to the Superintendent of Police and the S.H.O. concerned to ensure the safety of the petitioners.
2. It has been submitted that the petitioner no.1 was born on 05.06.1997, which is the date of birth mentioned in her high school marksheet and she is 22 years of age. The petitioner no.2 is 27 years of age. They got married on 30.11.2019 by means of a joint affidavit.
3. This Court cannot recognize the notarized affidavit declaring the petitioners to be married.
4. The petitioners are directed to get their marriage registered under the Uttar Pradesh Marriage Registration Rules 2017 and then to approach the S.H.O., P.S.- Kotwali, District- Muzaffar Nagar, who shall give them all necessary help and protection as has been directed in the Government Order dated 31.08.2019.
5. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
