Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue patta for the property situated at Survey No.540/2D2, Padapai Village, Sriperumbadur Taluk, Kancheepuram District to an extent of 0.5 Cent pursuant to the representation dated 04.04.2017.

Pleader ORDER The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent to issue patta for the property situated at Survey No.540/2D2, Padapai Village, Sriperumbadur Taluk, Kancheepuram District an extent of 0.5 Cent pursuant to the representation dated 04.04.2017.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2017, for the issuance of patta, the respondents have not issued the same yet.
3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2017, and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.04.2017 and pass orders, after giving notice to all the interested parties, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
