Respondents Prayer: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents, their men and Sub-ordinates from in any manner illegally harassing the petitioner including the Kattapanchayat and compelling the petitioner to settle with his borrowers without following due process of law.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition to direct the respondents, their men and Sub-ordinates from in any manner illegally harassing the petitioner including the Kattapanchayat and compelling the petitioner to settle with his borrowers without following due process of law.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has submitted that the second respondent has not registered any case or has sent any police personnel for any enquiry against the petitioner. Three criminal cases are filed against the petitioner, of which two cases are of same type. The petitioner is shown as accused in Crime No.446/2009, which has been registered in 2009 by City Central Crime Branch and the same is pending trial before the learned Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, in C.C.No.1616/2015. The petitioner also filed quash petition in Crl.O.P.No.25158/2009, which was dismissed on 20.11.2014. Cr.No.747/2008 was registered on 29.09.2008, for the offences of Forgery and Land grabbing, impersonation in depriving the complainant of his property, pending trial before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Poonamallee in C.C.No.6/2010. Cr.No.4/2012 is pertaining to copyright violations and sale of obscene DVDs being investigated by Central Crime Branch Team-X. The cases have been registered and enquired by Central Crime Branch. The petitioner has unnecessarily impleaded the 2nd respondent, in the above Writ Petition. However, the petitioner has not impleaded the concerned authority in the Writ Petition. Therefore, if at all there is any grievance, it is open to the petitioner to approach appropriate forum, if it is permissible under law.
3. With the above observation, the Writ Petition is dismissed.
No Costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
