JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the first respondent to file final report in Crime No.100 of 2016 on the file of the first respondent.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that originally he gave a complaint to the first respondent police with regard to the damages caused on his property, and the same was assigned CSR number and only upon the order obtained from this Court, the complaint given by the petitioner was acted upon and First Information Report was registered on 20.03.2016. He further submitted that in spite of the availability of ample documentary evidence, investigation has not been proceeded with.
3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.100 of 2016 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
