1. Supplementary affidavit filed today, is taken on record.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that while proceedings for cancellation of fire arm license issued to respondent no.3 for a rifle are reported to be pending, at the same time, there are certain other fire arm license that are continuing to exist in favour of the respondent no.3 and with respect to which, no proceedings had been initiated by the District Magistrate, Bareilly.
3. In this regard, it is further stated that the petitioner has made objection, which has not been acted upon.
4. In view of such fact, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the present writ petition pending any further. It is accordingly disposed of with a direction that the petitioner may file a fresh representation before the District Magistrate, Bareilly voicing his grievance against continuance of fire arm licence to the respondent no.3 within a period of two weeks from today.
5. If such representation is filed by the petitioner, necessary action may be taken by respondent no.2- District Magistrate, Bareilly strictly in accordance with law.
