Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present writ petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the First Information Report dated 31.3.2021 registered as Case Crime No.0155 of 2021 under Section 354 IPC, P.S. Meja, District Prayagraj. Further prayer has been made not to arrest the petitioners in the aforesaid case.
Mrs. Archna Singh, learned A.G.A. states that the final report has already been forwarded before the competent court on 10.10.2021. As such, the cause of filing the writ petition no more survives and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to apply for bail as permissible under law and in accordance with law.
