Civil Misc. Withdrawal Application No.3 of 2019 dated 22.05.2019 supported by an affidavit is taken up.
Heard Syed Ahmad Faizan, learned counsel for the petitioner on the application.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking the following reliefs;
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Certiorari quashing the impugned assessment order dt. 8.8.2007 issued by respondent No.5, (Annexure No.9).
(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing and commanding the respondents not to recover the assessment/arrears vide order dt. 8.8.07 or as demanded in the bill cum notice dt.5.3.08 (Annexure No.4) and consequential penal interest etc. and not to disconnect electricity connection of petitioner.
(iii) issue a writ, order or direction, which this Honble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.
(iv) award the costs of the petition in favour of the petitioner."
The withdrawal application has been filed with the prayer to dismiss the writ petition as not pressed.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed as not pressed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
