This Contempt Petition has been filed alleging disobedience of the order and direction issued in W.P.(MD) No.11916 of 2016 dated 6.08.2014.
2.The said writ petition was filed to direct the official respondents therein to impound the passport of the 2nd respondent herein/3rd accused in Crime No.177 of 2012 on the file of the third respondent therein. The said writ petition was disposed of directing the 1st respondent herein to finalize the show cause notice in accordance with law.
3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the order of this Court has not been complied with.
4.From the counter affidavit filed by the 1st respondent herein, it is seen that the second respondent herein, whose passport was sought to be impounded, has not responded to the show cause notice issued by the 1st respondent. If that be so, the first respondent has to further proceed with the show cause notice and finalize the same.
5.In order to finalize the show cause notice, this Court once again directs the petitioner to appear before the first respondent on 19.06.2017 at 3.00 p.m. and after hearing him the first respondent shall peruse the records and finalize the show cause notice within four weeks therefrom.
6.This Contempt Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
