Heard learned counsel for the applicants as well as learned AGA appearing for the State.
Present application has been filed with a prayer that the Court below i.e. A.C.M.M.-II, Kanpur Nagar be directed to expedite the hearing and decide the case no. 2268/2015 (Smt. Ummehani Vs. Rizwan and others), under Section 12 of Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005 within a time bound period.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present application is finally disposed of with the direction to the A.C.M.M.-II, Kanpur Nagar to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same on its own merit, in accordance with law, expeditiously within a period of nine months, provided there is no legal impediment and no unnecessary and long adjournments shall be granted to the parties.
With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the present application is finally disposed of.
