Heard learned counsel for the parties and the learned A.G.A.
This petition is filed by the petitioner for quashing the bailable warrant dated 1.7.2013 and subsequent orders of bailable warrant along with order of NBW issued on 17.4.2014 along with subsequent orders of NBW issued up till 5.11.2018.
After arguing at some length, learned counsel for petitioner submits that grievance of petitioner would be sufficiently met in case bail application of petitioner is considered expeditiously in accordance with law.
In view thereof, it is provided that if the petitioner surrenders before the Court below within one week from today and applies for bail, the Court below will consider the same, in accordance with law in view of the observations made in the case of Lal Kamlendra Pratap Singh Vs. State of U.P. reported in [2009 (3) ADJ 322 (SC)].
For a period of one week, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner.
With the aforesaid, the petition is disposed of.
