Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents and perused the record.
Present PIL has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondents to take appropriate action to remove the respondent no. 5/Kanhaiya Lal unauthorized occupation made over the public utility land (pond) bearing gata no. 154/0.300 hectare and gata no. 158/0.0360 hectare "Banjar" situated at village Karauti, Tehsil Mehnagar, District Azamgarh.
Petitioner herein is Gram Pradhan of the village in question and this PIL has been filed through a counsel who is not a panel lawyer.
In such view of the matter, present PIL is not maintainable and accordingly dismissed.
No order as to costs.
