The sole prayer of the petitioner is that the election petition being Election Petition No.T-202105200202129 (Renu Yadav vs. Sarita Giri & Ors.) under section 12-C of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 pending in the Court of Prescribed Authority/Sub-Divisional Officer, Salempur, District Deoria be decided expeditiously.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid case.
It is, therefore, directed that the Election Petition No.T- 202105200202129 (Renu Yadav vs. Sarita Giri & Ors.) be decided within a period of six months from the date of service of notice upon the opposite parties. The copy of this order shall be duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
