The grievance of the petitioner is that the appeal which had been filed on 29.4.2019 was not being decided and, therefore, a prayer for a direction has been made that the appeal be decided within a stipulated period of time.
He submits that as per Clause 13(3) of the Uttar Pradesh Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale and Distribution Control) Order, 2016, an appeal was required to be decided within a period of 60 days from its filing.
It is, therefore, directed that since the appeal is pending since 29.4.2019 the same shall be decided within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of.
