Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Mahboob Ahmad, learned counsel for the Power Corporation.
The petitioner is facing recovery for consumption of the electricity without having a proper connection.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the electricity connection stood in the name of his father and he is ready and willing to deposit the total amount, which has been demanded by the electricity department.
Subject to deposit of entire electricity dues, the mutation of the petitioner's name in the electricity record shall be considered by the Executive Engineer, respondent no.4, who will thereafter pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
