1) By this application, the applicant seeks fixation of an early date of hearing of Criminal Miscellaneous Application No.14644 of 2007.
2) Heard Mr. Ramnandan Singh, learned advocate for the applicant who has invited attention to the averments made in the memorandum of application to submit that vide order dated 6.12.2007, at the time of issuance of notice, further proceedings pursuant to the first information report in question have been stayed. It was submitted that in the light of the aforesaid, despite the fact that the period of more than four years lapsed, further proceedings could not be taken pursuant to the first information report. It was submitted that under the circumstances, the matter is required to be fixed for hearing at an early date.
3) Having regard to the submissions made by the learned advocate for the applicant, the application is allowed. Criminal Miscellaneous Application No.14644 of 2007 to be listed for final hearing in the week commencing from 18th June 2012. The application stands disposed of accordingly.
