Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents.
The petitioners claim themselves to be Scheduled Castes and have applied for caste certificates before respondent no.4.
The prayer in this writ petition is that respondent no.4 be directed to pass appropriate orders on the application of the petitioners.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no.4 that in case such an application for issuing caste certificates is pending before the Tehsildar, he may consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, as far as possible, within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is presented before the authority concerned.
