The petitioner has filed the instant petition seeking a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Fatehpur to decide Petition No.525 of 2015 within a time stipulated by this Court. These proceedings are pending at the instance of the petitioner seeking divorce under Section 13 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955.
Section 21-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 specifically provides that all proceedings under the Act should be held on a day to day basis and effort should be made to conclude the proceedings as far as possible within six months from the date of service of the petition on the respondent.
In view of the aforesaid provisions under the Act, I am of the opinion that no further direction is required.
The petition is accordingly disposed of.
