Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-
"i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.1/ Tehsildar Handia, Prayagraj to decide the mutation application filed under Section 35 of U.P. Revenue Code in case No.853 of 2017 (Ramkali Vs. Ramashankar) expeditiously within time bound period as stipulated by this Hon'ble Court, pending before Tehsildar, Tehsil Handia, Prayagraj."
Petitioner is aggrieved on account of pendency of his mutation application filed in the year 2017.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.1/ Tehsildar Handia, Prayagraj to endeavour to decide the mutation application of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
