Petitioner is claiming promotion from the post of Constable to Head Constable. It is submitted that persons, who are junior to petitioners, have already been promoted, but the claim of petitioner has not been considered so far. It is stated that petitioner has also represented in past, but no decision has been taken so far.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that grievance of petitioner shall be examined, in accordance with law.
Considering the above, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no.4 in respect of his grievance, as noticed above, alongwith certified copy of this order, within two weeks from today. In case such a claim is raised, the same shall be examined by the authority concerned, in accordance with law, within a further period of four months, thereafter.
