Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State.
Despite repeated queries, learned counsel for the petitioner is unable to state whether the petitioner has filed his written statement in the suit which has been pending since 2011. In view thereof, no cause arises for this Court to frame any peremptory directions except to observe that the concerned Court shall endeavour to dispose of the suit with expedition.
Present petition shall stand disposed of in the above terms.
