Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Sanjay Ram Tripathi, learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondent.
The grievance of the petitioner is that against the cancellation order dated 31.12.2018 passed by the second respondent, he has preferred an appeal No. 15 of 2019 (Ramdas Vs. State of U.P. and Others) before the second respondent along with stay application. The second respondent vide order dated 19.1.2019 rejected the stay application but the appeal has not yet been decided by the second respondent.
Learned Standing Counsel fairly states that in case the appeal is pending consideration and has not been decided, the same will be considered and decided expeditiously.
In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue and considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this writ petition is disposed of finally with a direction to the first respondent to consider and decide petitioner's aforesaid appeal by a speaking order within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
