The sole prayer of the petitioner is that the application dated 19 July 2018 under section 101 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 pending in the Court of Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Mehnagar, District Azamgarh be decided expeditiously.
It is, therefore, directed that the application under section 101 of the U.P. Revenue Code will be decided within a period of two months, if there is no other legal impediment.
If the petitioner moves an application for interim protection, the same shall also be decided within a period of one week from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
For a period of one week or till the application is decided, whichever is earlier, the constructions over Plot No.256 situated in village Chandani, Pargana Belhabas, Tehsil Mehnagar, District Azamgarh shall not be demolished.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
