The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the Deputy Director of Consolidation, Basti i.e., respondent no. 1 to decide Revision No.546 of 2021 (Ram Surat versus Santram) filed under Section 48 of U.P Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953.
The Deputy Director of Consolidation, Basti, i.e., respondent no. 1 is directed to decide the aforesaid revision, if still pending, within a period of six months from the date a copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid revision.
It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioners.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
