The instant petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Agra , before whom Case No. 1071/2013, is pending, to decide the same, within a time specified by this Court.
The petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 12 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. A perusal of the order sheet reveals that the trial Court is in the process of recording statement of the parties.
Section 21-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 specifically provides that all proceedings under the Act should be held on a day to day basis and effort should be made to conclude the proceedings as far as possible within six months from the date of service of the petition on the respondent.
In view of the aforesaid provisions under the Act, I am of the opinion that no further direction is required.
The petition is accordingly disposed of.
