Heard Sri Rajan Upadhyay, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Rajnish Kumar Rai, learned counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking quashing of the order/letter dated 01.05.2019 wherein it is provided that the system for selecting agents for selling railway tickets would be through a lottery system.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner may be permitted to represent before the Authority and that representation may be decided by the said Authority.
We therefore dispose of this writ petition with the consent of the learned counsel for the parties with the direction that if the petitioner prefers a fresh representation before the respondent no.2, Divisional Commercial Manager, Northern Railway, Moradabad raising all his grievances as raised in the present writ petition within a period of 15 days from today alongwith the certified copy of this order, the respondent no.2 shall consider and decide the same in accordance with law within a further period of one month.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits.
