Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
This writ petition has been filed praying following reliefs:-
"(i) issue a writ, order of directing in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned judgment and order dated 18.05.2017 passed by Zila Upbhokta Vivad Pratitosh Forum, Basti in complaint no. 55 of 2016 (Ram Dayal Vs Adhikrit Hastakshari/Prabandhak and others) (Annexure-7 to the writ petition).
(ii) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to make the dues payment of Rs. 82,445/- to the petitioner alongwith interest of 18% per annum within stipulated period.
(iii) issue a writ,order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no. 1, 2 and 3 to correct the farmer code of petitioner and feed farmer code 85 of the petitioner and also inform to petitioner."
The objection is that the impugned order was passed by the District Consumer Forum, Basti against which appeal lies before State Consumer Forum. Since there is an alternative remedy, as such the present petition is not maintainable. If advised, petitioner may seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
Writ petition is dismissed on the ground of alternative remedy.
