Petitioner has preferred an appeal before the respondent no. 2 against an order of punishment dated 05.05.2016. Such appeal is stated to have remained pending since 02.08.2016, but no decision has been taken and therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
Learned standing counsel submits that in case the appeal has not been decided, the same shall be dealt with by the appellate authority at the earliest.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, noticed above, this petition stands disposed of with a direction upon respondent no. 2 to accord consideration to the petitioner's appeal and unless the same has not been decided so far, the same shall be disposed of by passing a reasoned order within a period of two months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
