This writ petition, inter alia, has been filed for the following relief:
'i- Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner and further fix some easy instalment of the entire outstanding amount due against the petitioner and permit the petitioner to deposit the same accordingly.'
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
At the very outset, Sri Pranjal Mehrotra, learned counsel for the respondents stated that the petitioner, in substance, is seeking a relief against a private bank, as such, this writ petition is not maintainable.
Learned counsel for the petitioner could not rebut the contention so made by the learned counsel for the bank.
Since the petitioner, in substance, is seeking relief against a private respondent, the present writ petition is not maintainable.
The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed on the ground of maintainability.
