This petition has been filed with the grievance that though the petitioner was entitled to be considered for promotion in the year 2014 itself, but the authorities have considered the petitioner's promotion in the year 2016. According to the petitioner, he has moved an application for consideration of his claim for promotion from 2014.
Petition is opposed by the learned standing counsel.
Admittedly, petitioner has been promoted in the year 2016. A cause of action had arisen to the petitioner at that stage, if his promotion was not considered from a previous date. No such grievance appears to have been raised and this petition, after nearly two years, is not liable to be entertained. Petitioner has, otherwise, not pleaded that any person junior to him has been promoted in the year 2014.
No case for interference is made out. The writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
