Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State respondents.
At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that he may be permitted to correct the prayer clause and description of respondent no. 1.
Prayer is allowed. He may do so during the course of the day.
Present petition has been filed with a prayer that the respondent no. 1-Civil Judge (J.D.), Mohamdabad, Mau be directed to decide Suit No. 1528 of 1992 (Ramjeet vs. Paltoo and others) within stipulated period.
The suit is of the year 1992. This reflects sorry state of affairs regarding disposal of the case.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, the present petition is finally disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 1 to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same, in accordance with law, expeditiously, by giving short dates preferably within a period of one year from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
With the aforesaid observations/ directions, the present petition is finally disposed of.
