The petitioner by means of this writ petition seeks a writ of certiorari for quashing a fisheries lease, registered on 20.09.2019 in favour of respondent no. 7.
It is also submitted that Sub-Divisional Officer wrongly accepted the bid of the respondent.
Be that as it may, once a lease has been executed, the remedy for the petitioner lies by means of proceedings for its cancellation. The petitioner, in case, so advised, may avail such remedy for redressal of his grievance.
Subject to above, the writ petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of a statutory alternative remedy.
