Heard Ved Byas Mishra, learned counsel for the petitioners, Shir Manu Singh for respondent no.2 and the learned standing counsel.
This writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 25.11.2017 passed by respondent no.1.
Proceedings for cancellation of agricultural lease were initiated at the instance of the private respondents against the petitioners whereas petitioners appear to have raised a preliminary objection as regards the locus standi of the private respondents as not being the residents of the village in question. The preliminary objection came to be rejected under order dated 25.11.2017.
No jurisdictional defect could be demonstrated in the impugned order.
The petition is dismissed.
