By means of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction to the District Magistrate, Allahabad to decide the application of the Arms licence filed by the petitioner within a stipulated period.
To this prayer, learned Standing Counsel raises no objection.
Be that as it may, without entering into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the present petition is being disposed of with the direction to the District Magistrate, Allahabad to decide the application of the Arms licence filed by the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of submission of certified copy of this order after due verification in accordance with law.
