This petition is directed against an order passed by the Regional Level Committee dated 29.11.2018, whereby appointment of respondent no. 5 on the post of clerk has been approved. The petitioner was also an applicant for selection and having not been selected, she is before this Court.
At the time when the matter is taken up, an argument has been advanced on behalf of the petitioner stating that no typing test was actually conducted by the selection committee and, therefore, the process of recruitment is vitiated. This however is not the case pleaded in the writ petition. In paragraph 8 of the writ petition, it is stated that the petitioner has appeared in type text but she was not provided with a typing machine. The objection which has been taken by the petitioner before the District Inspector of Schools bears a date which is before the advertisement itself. No specific plea appears to have been taken before the Joint Director of Education, stating that type test was not conducted. Such a plea, therefore, cannot be permitted to be taken before this Court for the first time. Objection of petitioner otherwise appears to be more with an intent to oppose recruitment itself rather then to challenge her non selection.
Writ petition fails and is, accordingly, dismissed.
