This writ petition has been filed for quashing the F.I.R. dated 30.8.2018 (registered as Case Crime No. 948 of 2018), u/s 420 I.P.C. and Section 3/7 Essential Commodities Act, 1955, P.S. New Agra, district Agra.
A perusal of the F.I.R. shows that it discloses cognizable offence, as such, it is not liable to be quashed.
However, in case the petitioner surrenders before the court below and applies for bail, then the same shall be decided expeditiously, in accordance with law.
With the above direction, this petition is finally disposed of.
