By order dated 4.7.2014 in Writ-A No.33965 of 2014, this Court directed the opposite party herein to take appropriate decision on the representation of the applicant dated 5.8.2011 within three months from the date of production of certified copy of the order.
It was further directed that the amount which is due and payable, shall be paid to the applicant soon after the decision is taken.
An affidavit of compliance has been filed on 18.1.2016, according to which, the amount found due had been paid to the applicant in the year 2012 and 2014 and thus full compliance has been made.
Counsel for the applicant submitted that interest has not been paid to the applicant. There is no specific direction by the writ court for payment of interest nor the opposite party has found the applicant entitled for the same.
In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to proceed any further in the instant matter. In case the applicant feels aggrieved by non payment of interest, it shall be open to him to seek remedy before appropriate forum.
The contempt application stands disposed of.
