Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner who has been appointed as Stenographer and has been working with District Rural Development Agency (DRDA) formed under Rural Development Program by the State Government, is entitled to the revised pay scale of Rs. 1400-2600 (5000-8000) for the year 01.01.1986 in pursuance to the Government Order dated 16.07.1993.
I am of the opinion that the matter requires consideration in the first instance at the level of respondent no. 3.
In case, if petitioner moves a proper representation/ application setting out claim for revised pay scale and other consequential service benefits in terms of the Government Order, the same shall be considered and decided in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order and in case if the petitioner is held entitled to the same, the same shall be paid to him along with arrears from the date dues accrued to him till the date actual payment is started, within a further period of two months thereafter.
The writ petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations/ directions.
