2. It is the case of the petitioners that on the basis of the complaint given by one Saraswathy, a case was registered in Crime No.513 of 2015 as against the petitioners and after completion of investigation, charge sheet was filed in Crime No.513 of 2015 and the same was taken on file as C.C.No.11 of 2015 by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Ponneri, and the petitioners are regularly appearing before the said Court. Even then, the first respondent is threatening the petitioners that the second respondent is going to pass an order under Section 110 Cr.P.C. against them. Hence, the petition.
3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, on instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that no such harassment was made by the respondent police and the presence of the petitioners is required only for completion of enquiry.
4. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the petitioners are directed to appear before the second respondent police on 20.2.2017 at 10.00 a.m., for completion of enquiry, on which date, the second respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry. The present criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
