Heard Shri Vikram Singh Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for State - respondents.
The sole prayer made by the petitioner in this writ petition is for issuance of a direction upon the respondent no. 2 to decide his application dated 16.07.2019 within a stipulated period of time.
To the said prayer, learned standing counsel has no objection.
No useful purpose will be served in keeping the writ petition pending. This writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.2, to consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 16.07.2019, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order in his Office.
It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merits and the authority concerned is free to pass an independent order in accordance with law.
