This petition for writ is preferred to have a direction for respondents to maintain status quo in relation to the land that is subject matter of a partition suit said to be pending before the Sub Divisional Officer, Karvi, District Chitrakoot.
The suit is said to be filed under Section 176 of Uttar Pradesh Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950. The petitioner if wants any interim relief then the appropriate course before him is to move an application in the suit aforesaid itself. No writ petition for that purpose can be entertained. Initially, this petition for writ is fundamentally misconceived, dismissed accordingly.
