Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State- respondents.
By means of this writ petition the petitioners have come up to this Court with the prayer to issue a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents-Police authorities not to interfere in the peaceful living of the petitioners and not to harass them in any manner.
In case, there is any threat upon the petitioners, it is always open for them to lodge appropriate FIR before the appropriate Police Station. For the said purpose, writ cannot be issued.
The writ petition is mis-conceived and it is, accordingly, dismissed.
