1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of petitioners to press this writ petition. Learned Standing Counsel as well as Sri H.N.Pandey, Advocate, are present for respondents.
2. By means of the present writ petition, petitioners have sought following reliefs:
"i. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to take appropriate action for releasing the petitioner/Staff's Salary and other benefit by any other means except the disputed Committees.
ii. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to make single operation only on the part of the salary of the petitioners/staff of the aforesaid institution till the disposal of the dispute regarding the Committee of Management.
iii. issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to take appropriate action under Section 6 of the Salary Act, 1971 and also direct to the respondents to pay the salary and other benefit/dues to the petitioner/staff with immediate affect."
3. I myself have gone through the pleadings, grounds as also reliefs sought and find that petitioners are not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
4. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioners have lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioners is absent.
5. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
